Advanced Composting Technologies has a wealth of experience with composting manure, using its patented forced aeration composting system.

Our first client was a 600-head dairy farm in the North Carolina mountains that used the patent pending forced air composter to convert all of its manure to valuable compost. In 30 days the Advanced Composting system can provide a stable medium free of pathogens and weed seeds. The compost can then be further cured for another 30 to 60 days to enhance its value as a horticultural soil amendment based on consumer requirements.

The finished product is either sold as compost or mixed with soils and other materials to make topsoil and potting medium.
